What a day yesterday at the Lisburn Association of Principals’ Conference! Taking place in the Slieve Donard Hotel in Newcastle, Co. Down, it was such a gorgeous setting!
The conference brought together School Principals and educational leaders, with businesses working in the field of education, including Emu Ink Publishing, on display at a trade event throughout the day.
It was fantastic to have Principals from across counties Antrim and Down visit our stand at the show and connect with the different projects we offer. Getting to chat in person with decision makers in education is invaluable, where we can discuss our latest educational project, Local Voices, and the process involved with our anthologies and milestone anniversary books. We were delighted to discuss our Local Voices project. We highlighted how Local Voices fosters a sense of belonging and pride by celebrating the rich cultural heritage and personal experiences of individuals within communities. Visitors were enthusiastic about the project’s potential to inspire creativity and foster connections within their schools and communities.
Connecting directly with educational leaders who play a crucial role in shaping the educational landscape of their respective regions is crucial. Their presence at our stand underscored their commitment to staying updated with the latest educational resources and methodologies, which was inspiring to see.
Throughout the day attendees engaged in meaningful discussions aimed at enhancing teaching practices, understanding, and student outcomes. The conference served as a platform for educators, principals, and educational resource providers to exchange ideas, strategies, and insights, and we were delighted to be amongst them.
